The Skin
A hanji form gathers into itself, built through repeated touch and pressure. What was once dispersed is drawn inward, forming a compact, contained body.
It holds the sense of something newly made. Fragile yet dense, the surface carries traces of everything that shaped it, as if different fragments have been brought together and allowed to remain.
Rather than returning to what it was, the material settles into a new condition. Not fixed, but held, as a quiet construction of a world that did not exist before.
